The Korea Scout Parliamentary Association (KSPA) has its origin in 'Korea Scout Parliamentary Club' formed in 1983 by members of parliament who had been Scouts. It was establish as KSPA in 1991. It led the establishments of the World Scout Parliamentary Union(WSPU), and later the first WSPU Constituent Assembly in Seoul. Finally WSPU became a organization, now comprising 87 member countries.

Its objectives is to actively support the Scouting activities and to secure unity among Scout-oriented parliamentarians, in order to bring about benefits the country as a whole. KSPA also undertakes various tasks at national levels, such as Youth Invitation Programs, Seminars on Youth Policy Development, and other youth-related workshops.
