I sincerely welcome all of you who have visited the website of the Korea Scout Association.
Scout is a global biggest youth organization with 54million people in 171 countries.
In Korea, scouting activities first began in 1922, and now, 300,000 youths are active in 6,000 units belonging to 21 regional and religious councils. KSA is the oldest youth organization that helps Korean youth "Grow Together".
KSA helps our youth, who are the protagonists of the future, cultivate the right view of the country, character, and values through various experiences and experiential activities to help them grow into members of society. In addition, we are leading a variety of social education activities where youth can grow as leaders leading social development.
In particular, the 25th World Scout Jamboree, which will be held in Saemangeum, Jeollabuk-do from August 1, 2023, will be a venue for 50,000 youths from 171 countries from all around the world where scouts gather in the vast Saemangeum area to share their dreams and hopes and to show their individual talents and abilities.
We will do our best to hold the 25th World Scout Jamboree successfully as a global youth festival.
As a reliable partner of youth, we will strive to secure diversity in the scout movement through the establishment of a digital governance system to be a hope of nurturing the dreams and talents of youth.
We will also make every effort to help scouts participate in joyful and happy scouting for the new 100 years.
